Agatha's Puppies: Golden Tickets, Pregnancy Scans and Who's the Daddy? 🐾❤️

Agatha's Puppies: Golden Tickets, Pregnancy Scans and Who's the Daddy? 🐾❤️

Excitement and Hope

There's a mixture of excitement, anticipation and just a few nerves at Wolfpack Towers at the moment.

Our lovely Agatha has recently been enjoying the company of her handsome Scottish boyfriend, Floyd, and we're now approaching the moment when we discover whether another litter of little Wolfpack puppies might be on the way.

But before we start making plans for tiny paws, puppy milk and sleepless nights, there's one rather important appointment to attend.

Agatha's pregnancy scan.

We've also been receiving lots of lovely messages from people hoping to welcome a Wolfpack puppy into their family, so we thought this would be a good time to explain what happens next, how our waiting list works and how we choose the homes our puppies will eventually join.

And somewhere along the way, there's a little mystery involving two potential fathers.

But we'll come to that!

First, Is Agatha Pregnant?

That's the question we'd all love to know the answer to.

Agatha will be booked in for a veterinary pregnancy scan within the next couple of weeks, and until then, we're keeping everything crossed.

You might imagine that after years of raising Staffordshire Bull Terriers, we'd be quite relaxed about these appointments.

Not a chance.

We've been here before with Agatha. We've made the journey to the vets full of excitement, hoping to see those magical little shapes appearing on the ultrasound screen, only to discover that she wasn't pregnant.

It's a horrible feeling when you've allowed yourself to get excited about something that simply wasn't meant to be.

And believe us, we've had our fair share of disappointments over the years!

If you've read our book, The Izy Staffy Wolfpack: A True Story of Family, Dogs, and Devotion, you'll already know that life with the Wolfpack hasn't always gone according to plan. We've had our share of breeding adventures, unexpected surprises and more than a few moments when Mother Nature has decided to have a little laugh at our expense.

We've shared some of those stories in our book, including the times things didn't quite work out as we'd hoped. So if you'd like to discover what really goes on behind the scenes at Wolfpack Towers, there's plenty more to read about!

And that's why, no matter how promising things might seem, we never take a pregnancy for granted.

Dogs don't read calendars, follow our plans or make promises.

Mother Nature has the final say.

So for now, we're enjoying the anticipation, trying not to get too excited and waiting patiently for the day we can finally find out.

As soon as we have Agatha's scan results, we'll share the news on the Wolfpack Bulletin Board and our official social media pages.

If the news is positive, that's when we'll open applications for her puppies.

Willy Wonka and the Wolfpack Golden Ticket! 🎫

Sometimes, when we think about the number of people hoping to welcome a Wolfpack puppy into their home, it reminds us of Willy Wonka and his famous golden tickets.

We now have over two million followers across our social media platforms, and every time we mention the possibility of puppies, the messages start arriving.

And we absolutely understand why.

For many people, Staffordshire Bull Terriers aren't simply pets. They're companions, best friends and cherished members of the family.

But while we have an enormous Wolfpack family following our adventures around the world, the number of puppies we can welcome into the world is very small.

There might be five puppies. There might be nine. There might not be any at all.

We simply don't know until they're here.

Which means that, rather like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory, there are always far more people hoping for a golden ticket than there are tickets available.

But here's the important part. People really do find their golden tickets.

We have so many wonderful families across the UK who are now sharing their lives with puppies born at Wolfpack Towers.

Families who once sent us a hopeful message, wondering whether they might ever have the opportunity to welcome one of our little Staffies into their home.

And today, those same families are sending us photographs of their dogs enjoying holidays, playing in gardens, stealing the best spot on the sofa and generally ruling the household.

We love seeing those updates.

They remind us why we put so much care into finding the right families.

So please don't be discouraged by the number of people who follow us or the amount of interest we receive.

Every Wolfpack puppy family started with an introduction.

And yours might be the next one.

Wolfpack Puppies for Sale: How to Apply

We know that many people find our website by searching Google for Wolfpack puppies for sale, hoping to discover whether we have any Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppies available.

And we're delighted that so many families would love to welcome one of our little Wolfpack members into their homes.

However, we don't have puppies available all year round, and we never accept applications until a pregnancy has been confirmed by a veterinary scan.

If Agatha's scan brings us the news we're hoping for, we'll announce the pregnancy here on our Wolfpack Bulletin Board and explain how families can apply.

Whether you've been following our adventures for years or have only just discovered the Wolfpack, you're very welcome to apply when the waiting list opens.

Every puppy deserves a wonderful lifelong home, and every wonderful family deserves the opportunity to introduce themselves.

How Do You Apply for a Wolfpack Puppy?

The first thing to explain is that our waiting list isn't open just yet.

We want to wait until Agatha has had her pregnancy scan and we know whether puppies are actually on the way.

If her pregnancy is confirmed, we'll make an official announcement on our website and social media, explaining that applications are open.

That's when we'd love to hear from you.

But rather than simply receiving a message saying, "Can I have a puppy?", we'd like to get to know the people behind the enquiry.

Tell us a little about yourselves.

Who lives in your home? Do you have children? Are there other dogs or pets in the family?

Have you owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers before, or would this be your first?

We'd love to hear about your home, your lifestyle and what an ordinary day looks like for your family.

Do you work from home? Are you retired? Do you work shifts or have family members around during the day?

How would a puppy fit into your routine, particularly during those early months when they need plenty of time, attention, training and company?

And perhaps most importantly, what sort of life are you hoping to share with your new best friend?

Please don't worry about writing something formal or trying to tell us what you think we want to hear.

We're not looking for perfect essays.

We're looking for genuine people who love dogs and can offer one of our puppies a wonderful home.

A short, friendly introduction will be absolutely fine.

That will form the starting point of our vetting process, allowing us to get to know families before we begin making any decisions.

Because although all our puppies begin life together at Wolfpack Towers, they will eventually have very different lives.

Some will join busy households with children. Others will become companions for couples or individuals. Some may have another Staffy waiting to welcome them home.

There isn't one perfect type of family.

What matters is finding the right family for each individual puppy.

What If You've Been Waiting for a Long Time?

We know there are families who have been hoping for a Wolfpack puppy for quite some time.

Some have contacted us previously, perhaps when we were expecting another litter or when our waiting list was last open.

And we want to reassure those families that their previous interest hasn't been forgotten.

When reviewing applications, we'll take into consideration the date of your original enquiry and how long you've been waiting.

We think that's only fair.

However, we also need to explain why we don't operate a simple numbered waiting list.

Until puppies are born, we don't know how many there will be, how many boys or girls we'll have or which families might be the best match for each puppy.

Someone might have been hoping for a little girl, but the litter could be mostly boys.

Another family might be looking for a particular temperament or hoping to introduce a puppy to an existing dog.

There are lots of things to consider.

So although previous enquiries and waiting times will absolutely be taken into account, they won't automatically guarantee a puppy.

We also have families who already own one of our Wolfpack puppies and have expressed an interest in welcoming another.

Existing Wolfpack puppy families will receive priority consideration.

These are families we already know, and in many cases we've had the pleasure of watching their dogs grow up through photographs, videos and regular updates.

Knowing how wonderfully they've cared for one of our puppies is naturally a very reassuring starting point.

But ultimately, every decision will be made with the puppies' long-term happiness and wellbeing at heart.

We want every puppy to find the home that's right for them, and every family to find the companion that's right for their lives.

If you've contacted us previously about a Wolfpack puppy, we'd love to hear from you again once Agatha's pregnancy has been confirmed and we've officially opened applications.

Simply visit the Contact Us page on our website and send us a little introduction to your family, your home and the life you could offer one of our puppies.

Please also mention when you first contacted us, as we'll be taking previous enquiries and waiting times into consideration when reviewing applications.

There's no need to apply just yet. We'll let everybody know when the waiting list officially opens, so keep an eye on the Wolfpack Bulletin Board for the announcement. ❤️

What Can You Expect From a Wolfpack Puppy? ❤️

When you welcome a Wolfpack puppy into your family, you're not simply taking home a beautiful little Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

You're welcoming a puppy who has spent the first weeks of their life growing up in our home, surrounded by the sights, sounds and everyday adventures of Wolfpack life.

Our puppies are raised as part of the family, with plenty of love, attention and opportunities to become accustomed to normal household life.

Before leaving us, every puppy will be:

  • Kennel Club registered, with a five-generation pedigree certificate. Ten-generation pedigrees are also available.

  • Microchipped and veterinary checked.

  • Vaccinated and wormed in accordance with their veterinary care schedule.

  • Provided with appropriate puppy insurance.

Health and responsible breeding are incredibly important to us.

Our breeding dogs are DNA tested for L-2-HGA and Hereditary Cataracts (HSF4), and we carefully consider pedigrees and genetic relationships when planning our litters.

We also look closely at the Kennel Club's inbreeding coefficient information, because our aim is always to breed healthy, happy Staffordshire Bull Terriers with wonderful temperaments.

And perhaps most importantly, we know our dogs.

Not simply from photographs or pedigree certificates, but from sharing our home and everyday lives with them.

Which brings us rather nicely to the next part of the story.

Who's the Daddy? 🔎🐶

Now, before anybody starts choosing names or buying puppy beds, there's another little mystery that might need solving.

Who's the daddy?

As you know, Scottish King Floyd recently returned to Wolfpack Towers for another romantic holiday with Agatha.

The pair already have nine beautiful puppies together from their previous litter, and we were delighted to welcome Floyd back.

But there's another young gentleman in the Wolfpack household.

Prince Walter.

And when it comes to the possibility of puppies, we want to be absolutely certain of their parentage.

If Agatha's pregnancy is confirmed, we'll arrange DNA parentage testing to establish exactly who fathered each puppy.

Unfortunately, we can't simply line the puppies up, look at their faces and declare, "That one's definitely Floyd's!"

Although knowing our lot, we'd probably have plenty of opinions.

DNA testing will allow us to establish the parentage of each puppy accurately, so their Kennel Club registration and pedigree information can be completed correctly.

It's an important part of responsible breeding, even if it does sound rather like the beginning of a television mystery.

We might have a little fun with the question, but we'll leave the final verdict to the science.

What Happens After the Puppies Are Born?

If Agatha's scan confirms a pregnancy, we'll begin preparing for the arrival of her puppies.

But even then, we won't be promising particular puppies to particular families.

First, we need to welcome them safely into the world.

Then we'll spend those precious early weeks caring for them, watching them grow and getting to know their personalities.

We'll also begin reviewing the applications we've received, considering previous enquiries and talking to families who may be suitable.

As the puppies develop, we'll have a much better understanding of which homes might suit them.

When they're around three weeks old, we'll begin arranging visits with the families we've selected to move forward, giving them the opportunity to meet us and the puppies before deposits are agreed.

And, of course, there are a few important things worth remembering.

Our puppies are available only to families living in the UK, and they must be collected in person. We don't export puppies overseas.

We also never advertise our puppies for sale through unofficial accounts or third-party websites.

All genuine announcements and application information will come through the Wolfpack Bulletin Board and our official social media pages.

Please be particularly careful of fake accounts claiming to have our puppies available.

Generations of the Wolfpack: A Family Affair 🐾

Our story began with Izy, the wonderful little Staffy who started everything and whose legacy lives on through the generations of the Wolfpack.

Then came her daughter Peggy, who inherited her own wonderful personality and went on to become a mother herself.

And when Peggy and our handsome Tommy welcomed their puppies into the world, along came Agatha.

That makes Agatha Izy's granddaughter, Peggy and Tommy's daughter, and another very special chapter in our family story.

Three generations of Staffordshire Bull Terriers, each with their own personality, little habits and wonderful character.

And now, with a little luck and some good news at her pregnancy scan, Agatha may be about to continue that family story with a new generation of her own.

For us, these aren't simply names on a pedigree certificate. They're dogs we've loved, raised and shared our lives with, and that's something we're incredibly proud of.

A Puppy Is for Life, Not Just for the Puppy Stage ❤️

There's one final thing we'd really like prospective families to understand.

Our puppies are adorable.

We know that.

Those little faces, tiny paws and wagging tails can melt even the hardest of hearts.

But puppies don't stay puppies for very long.

That tiny bundle you bring home will soon become a strong, energetic Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a mind of its own, an enormous personality and a remarkable ability to take over your entire household.

There will be chewed belongings, muddy paws, early mornings, training challenges and probably the occasional moment when you wonder what on earth you've let yourself in for.

But there will also be years of laughter, companionship, adventures and the sort of unconditional love that makes Staffies so special.

That's the life we're hoping to find for every puppy.

Not simply somebody who wants a beautiful little Staffy puppy today, but somebody who will still adore that dog when they're five, ten or hopefully fourteen years old.

Somebody who will make them part of the family through all the adventures and challenges that life brings.

Because that's what being part of the Wolfpack family means to us.

Keep Everything Crossed for Agatha!

So that's where we are.

Agatha's pregnancy scan is coming up in the next couple of weeks, and until then, we're keeping our fingers firmly crossed.

If the news is positive, we'll announce it and open applications.

If you've previously enquired, we'll take that history into account, but we'd still like you to contact us again once applications open so we know you're still interested and can learn about your current circumstances.

And if you're completely new to the Wolfpack and hoping to welcome one of our puppies, please don't feel that you've missed your opportunity.

Remember those golden tickets.

There are already lots of happy families who once wondered whether they'd ever be lucky enough to welcome a Wolfpack puppy into their lives.

Perhaps the next one will be yours.

For now, all eyes are on Agatha.

And if Mother Nature has been kind to us, we might soon have another wonderful chapter of Wolfpack life to share.

Fingers crossed, everybody! ❤️🐾

Ian, Julie & the Wolfpack

A simple guide to buying a Wolfpack puppy:

Only apply through our official website. Never send money to anyone advertising Wolfpack puppies elsewhere.

Please Beware of Puppy Scammers! ❤️🐾

There's something very important we'd like everybody to know, particularly anyone hoping to welcome a Wolfpack puppy into their family.

We are receiving an increasing number of reports of scammers stealing our photographs and videos, creating fake accounts and pretending to have Wolfpack puppies available for sale.

Unfortunately, these scams are happening across different social media platforms, websites and online messaging services, with fraudsters using all sorts of methods to convince people they're dealing with us.

And some of their stories are incredibly convincing.

It's heartbreaking to think that somebody who was simply excited about welcoming a puppy into their family could lose their money.

So please remember:

We never advertise our puppies for sale through third-party websites, Facebook groups, marketplace listings or unofficial social media accounts.

We never arrange for our puppies to be shipped or delivered to buyers. Our puppies are available to UK residents only and must be collected in person.

We never ask people to pay money to secure a puppy before they've been through our official application process.

And perhaps most importantly, just because somebody has photographs or videos of our dogs doesn't mean they have one of our puppies.

Our photographs and videos are shared across the internet every day, and unfortunately, dishonest people are taking advantage of that.

The only genuine announcements about our puppies will come directly from our official Wolfpack social media accounts and our website, izystaffywolfpack.com.

If somebody contacts you privately claiming to have one of our puppies available, particularly if they're asking for immediate payment or promising delivery, please be extremely cautious, it is not us.

And if you're ever unsure, contact us directly through our website before sending anybody money.

We would much rather answer a genuine question than see another family fall victim to one of these awful scams.

Please help us protect other dog lovers by sharing this warning. ❤️
